We aim to create a sustainable future and make a positive difference in the lives of people, communities, and the environment. Our ongoing mission is to become fully sustainable and protect of the planet and its resources for future generations.
achieve our mission through these aspects of our work:
Use of a more holistic, purpose-led strategy in product development and operations to minimise waste and promote efficient use of resources.
Ensuring all suppliers are ethical, environmentally responsible, and compliant with labour regulations.
Develop a workforce where every employee is empowered to champion and achieve sustainable initiatives.
Cultivating a global presence that enables lasting environmental impact through advocacy, partnerships, and large-scale collaborative action.
Forests support more than 80% of the world’s land species and protect 75% of our freshwater. They reduce the risk of natural disasters such as floods and landslides and more than 1.6 billion people depend on forests for their income.
The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG) identify reforestation and sustainable forest management as key to combating climate change.
Reforestation is challenging. Reverting land into forests can have a negative impact on food and energy production.
This is why QNET is initiating a programme on responsible and sustainable reforestation.
QNET’s Green Legacy, our global reforestation programme, was launched in 2021 in partnership with EcoMatcher.
We have contributed to reforestation efforts in Kenya, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Algeria, Turkey, Russia, Egypt, Morocco and Malaysia.
We have planted a total of 15,000 trees so far, and we are excited to continue our efforts in planting more.
